...heaven and earth reflect Thy Rays. The unlikely, unbelievable, are-you-kidding-me victories keep coming for the Rays, who did it again Sunday when Gabe Gross hit a most unexpected homer to give them a 4-3 10-inning win over the White Sox.
What makes this walk-off HR unexpected was that Gross never plays against lefties and he hit it off a lefty on a 0-and-2 count.
Best record in the AL. Just finished an 8-2 homestand. One game up on the Bosox and going into Boston for three games starting Tuesday. Can the mind of mortal man grasp such a thing?
