The Rays are in first.

At the halfway point, the Rays are 49-32, a game up on the Bosox and tied with the Cubs for the best record in baseball.
The Bosox come into the ratdump known as Tropicana Field.
(okay, it's not as big as ratdump as the old Veteran's Stadium in Philly, especially when all the Mets fans came down to see there team in hostile territory. It was more dangerous in the stands than on the field)
Where was I? The Bosox come to the Trop 6/30-7/2, and if the Rays can sweep these beaneaters my head is going to explode. The old Devil Rays have stunk on ice for the entirety of their 10-year existence, and I don't think the mind of mortal man can fully comprehend what is going on. Heck, the guys aren't even hitting yet.
